What type of medical supplies are covered by insurance?

Medical supplies covered by your insurance will depend on the type and the number of products you need, and the type of your insurance. For example, Medicare beneficiaries are allowed up to 200 intermittent catheters and/or 35 external catheters with 2 day or night bags per month. That being said, exceptions can be made depending on your needs and/or your doctor’s recommendations. Please give us a call so we can provide you with more accurate information.

If I have insurance, will I incur any additional charges?

By working directly with your insurance provider, we're able to maximize your coverage and make sure you never overpay. In the case that your insurance(s) will not fully cover your medical supplies, our Member Care team will inform you of any out-of-pocket costs you may incur. Any out-of-pocket costs must be verified and confirmed by you, before we finalize the order. Better Health will not charge you for any additional fees-- there are no delivery fees, membership fees, or service fees.

Will my supplies be covered by insurance?

To determine whether your supplies will be covered by your insurance, we'll need to collect your product requirements and insurance information to verify. We'll do our best to maximize your insurance coverage, and help you save as much as possible on your supplies.
